Neighborhood Alert (August 31, 2006):
 Here are two things that have happened in our neighborhood in the past two weeks:

• On Cambridge - a neighbor witnessed two men jumping a fence from Southbridge Parkway into a resident’s back yard.  The men stole a 4-wheeler that was parked behind the garage.  This was during the day and the owner was home.   When the neighbor who witnessed it realized what was happening, she called 911 and then notified the neighbor when she saw him driving out of his garage.  The owner was able to recover his 4-wheeler on the parkway, but the men were not caught.

• three residents saw a suspicious white older model compact car, probably a 2-door Honda, with a man driving extremely slowly and looking closely into residents’ garages and at a resident who was outside with her son.  When they approached the man he appeared to be incoherent and to be smoking something in a tube as well as holding his breath.  He also appeared to be zipping up his pants.  The police were called and they were unable to find the man.  He is described as an Asian male, probably in his 20’s or 30’s.
