FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Announcements - End of September, 2006
  • Islands are done!!!  The two islands in Hamlet (one on Whitehall and one on Sussex) have recently been redone.   Irrigation was added to the islands, the old weeds and grass were removed and new sod was added.

  • Theft in Neighborhood:  Last week there was a theft incident on Windsor Lane.  It occurred at 11:30 pm at night when an individual was working on his laptop in his garage with garage door open. He stepped inside for a bite and when he returned the laptop was missing and two teenage boys were seen running from his driveway. Again, keep your garages closed and keep an eye on any suspicious activity in the neighborhood.

  • Scott County is still accepting input regarding the potential County Road 21 extension.  This input will
be accepted until next Monday, October 16th.  For further information, go to the following link:

  •  Mailbox update:  We are still gathering information on getting locks for mailboxes. The board has decided that purchasing new mailboxes for all is far too expensive of an option.  Locked inserts for those who desire them are a possibility. We are trying to work out the details, costs and issues associated with inserting locked boxes into association-owned mailboxes, and will inform residents when a plan is created.

  • Southbridge Pumpkin Give-Away - October 14th, 2006 at 4:00 p.m.  Come to the Hamlet Tot Park (the intersection of Windsor and Cambridge) for free pumpkins, food, and prizes!  Sponsored by The Grimes Group.
