Time: 7:30 PM

Location: 1725 Windsor Drive South

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. with the following board members present: Tom Pitschneider, Chris Gustafson, Lisa Johnson, Chad Rice and David Lindquist. A prospective new Treasurer and Board Member Jenny Smith was also in attendance.

Irrigation

  • The Board received a quote from Metro Lawn Sprinklers for installing irrigation in four non-irrigated areas of Hamlet. The quote was for approximately $50,000.
  • Chris Gustafson will get two additional quotes from other irrigation companies.

    • Portable Storage Units
      • Located adjacent and within one foot of the house.
      • Constructed of vinyl material (no metal sheds)
      • There will be a yet to be determined size restriction for this type of shed. Tom Pitschneider is investigating
    • Permanent Storage Structure
      • Similar or better construction than the house for siding and roofing materials.
      • Placed on a concrete pad
      • Ten feet by twelve feet footprint size limitation
      • Minimum five feet from property lines

Finance

  • 2002 invoices were sent out on Aug 8, 2002.

New Treasurer/Board Member

  • Jenny Smith was interviewed for the open position
  • Tom will arrange to have the other two interested parties at the next meeting
  • A decision on how to fill the position will also be made at the next meeting.

Outside Storage Enforcement

  • A lengthy conversation was held regarding the outside storage of trailers, snowmobiles, RVs, and boats. The Board realized that this was a highly sensitive topic and that a great deal of thought would need to be put into making the rules.
  • Dave Lindquist recommended that a Rules Committee be established to compile a first draft of the rules for various topics like sheds, outside storage, etc.
  • It was decided that a first draft of the rules be in place by the Open Meeting to be held in September.

Open Meeting

    • Tentative dates were decided upon for the Open Meeting for the Association

      • Time: 7:00

The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 p.m.

Respectively submitted,

Chad Rice, Secretary
